bad habits?

do you have a bad habit?
i have a few. the worst is i pick at the skin around my fingers. ouch! i don't know why i can't stop..considering how bad it hurts sometimes! i've been doing it since i was a small child.

Strangely enough, Ashlee, that's my bad habit too! I've never been a nail biter, but I pick at my cuticles like that. On my thumbs, mostly. When I was in high school my thumbs would look so bad that people would think I had been injured and ask, "What happened to your thumb?!", I was too embarrassed to tell them what it really was. I don't do this nearly as much as I used to, but still I catch myself doing it sometimes.

yes, i have a huge scar all the way down to the base of my thumb. yet i STILL pick at the darn thing! it must be a nervous habit of some sort. i do notice if i'm antsy about something, i do it even moreso :)
