being frugal is not bad. it's just saving some that you only have for the future. we should not waste our money for signatured clothes. there clothes of the same quality but very big difference in the price. checking the price of ingredients for the food you will cook can make you a flexible cook. who knows somebody who eats the food you cook might be impress to your flexibilty. having a bicycle going somewhere instead of riding a car can make you healthy for the exercise. some say being frugal is being cheap, i say being frugal is being practical.
