what can you say If person's only hope is to die just after his mother

my husband's hope is to die even a day after his mother and he is doing abd things to harm himself and I can do nothing to help him, his body now stills in good condition, but I dont know the inside organs if stills ok..anybody can share such persons attitude?

i'm so sorry for this but you have to stand with him the only thig that's born big and then become smaller is sadness he will forget but it gonna take some time god be with you
