Friends this is a simple and straight question.. Are you a beleiver of God or not. Many of us go to church or temple or mosque or diffferent places to worship god. But what is the validness that god exist. Someone say look around you god is surrounding you. But i dont beleive the same fact. What i beleive is that see around you, you have mother nature the universe the sun the moon in it with the beautiful earth that you stay on. These all are god for me. or the one who has created them is the real god for me. I would like to worship them. I would rather not like to favour idol worship. What are your views friends. I know its a hard topic to choose on as many of us on mylot are firm beleivers of god and worship and pray everyday. No personal feelings just share your views..I would be thankful to all of you as i am seriously thinking to conduct a research personally in the same topic.

I believe in God with my entire conviction.Had it not been for His great love and care, we would not be able to survive all the tragedies that happened to our family. I grew up in faith incalcated by my Mom. Sometimes, we do not have to look up scholarly articles to search for truth. It has always been there right before our eyes. It is a matter of accepting or rejecting what is presented to us.After all, we were given free will by the One True GOD.

That's a beautiful answer.Merely looking at our splendid surroundings remind us that there is a wondrous God who makes things possible. We may be adamant whenever trials come our way but our Heavenly Father would always give us a light nudge to remind us that He will never give us problems we can't endure.Amidst our seemingly insurmountable problems is a much bigger God.

Personally I believe in God.
Not believing in God, I think, poses risks of psychological problems specially in old age when the choices are getting less and the body is weaker.
Also there are scientific studies reporting that prayer lowers adrenaline leading to less strain on the circulatory system resulting in better overall health.
Finally I think St. Augustine said: "Neither do I understand that I believe; but I believe so that I would understand. For if I did not believe, I would never understand."
Cheers :)

thanks for the comment.
I am Ruperto from Philippines. Though electronics engg is my line of work, I am interested in the potential of the internet to help solve problems of the disadvantaged.
One of my favorite thoughts: "They say life is a like a deal of cards in a card game." It take no credit for being borne into this world with all the chances for a hopeful life. There are those who have not doen less than I did but are disadvantaged in one many ways: socially, economic-wise, ecologically etc.
Finally I am also a fan of Confucius: "A man of humanity is one who in seeking to establish himself, sets a foothold for others; and is one who, in desiring attainment for himself, helps others to attain."
Cheers :)

I am a firm believer of the true and living God of the universe, through whom all things were made, for nothing that ever existed will be made without Him.
