Do you multi-task?

I usually do multi-tasking since I treasured the time and I want to make the most of now, to do more things as long as I can and as long as time permits. While I am doing my school assignments, I wash my clothes and still managed to surf the internet, checking my emails. Sometimes at school, I am writing a report or reviewing for an exam while listening to the teacher's lesson. I also work part-time as student assistant in our college, studying while working.

i am always multi-tasking... i know some may find it weird, but i am getting bored if i just do a single thing. while im doing lesson plans or test questions, i am also online...

i could be typing on the computer and feeding my 4 month old and watching tv.

Hey char, I have trouble sitting still. It's a wonder I can sit at the computer for hours at a time here on mylot. It's truly amazing. I usually can't concentrate on anything. Yes, I can multitask. I learned that from my many years of working as a medical assistant and legal secretary. You have to be really quick in both of those fields. I can type on mylot and cook dinner and talk on the phone at the same time. It's a wonder anything comes out right! I'm just so used to doing 3-4 things at the same time. It's kinda fun!

im doing the same thing now the tv is in the backround while im typing my head off here i also play my video games while the tv is going off i luckly can set aside my needs to go to the movies lol but i do almsot the same thing as you

I multi-Task sometimes but I only can do it for son long, After awhile I just can't do it no more. For example like when I'm on mylot i try to stay connected to other sites at the same time but it's hard. really hard especially with a site like mylot., lol.. :D I try my best to multi-Task but guess only a few can do it ha ha.. You must have skills ha ha.. unlike me.. well take care.. and keep posting. .HAppy Mylotting. :D

yea, lol right now im watching a film and posting on mylot and another forum lol while talking to someone on msn lol actully im suprised, i didnt realisee i was doing so much all at once lol

Always, as I work online from home I'm always always doing tones of things.I do the washing and get medals while I'm online.I'm always on several sites.I'll often do small jobs roud the house while I download photos. I'd realy have to do this, as I'm online for about 10 hours a day I guess.

We sound so much alike Char!! LOL I'm an antsy person too and can't sit still for very long either so yes I multi task while watching a movie. I cross stitch quite a bit so I'll do that while watching a movie. I hardly ever go to a movie any more because I hate to sit for that long. lol I've got to get up and move around or be doing something with my hands and in the move theater, it's too dark to do anything but sit there and stare straight ahead. lol

I can multitask as in jobs up to a certain point anyway. But when it comes down to watching tv and being on the computer then I struggle! I can only concentrate on one thing at a time or else that is when I make mistakes and do not put down all that I want to say!

i absolutely do! i multi-task all the time. infact im multi-tasking right now! lol im on mylot, watching tv, petting my dog, and drinking my coke. so yes i do multi-task. but i can sit through a movie. i do alot. but i talk during it.

LOL! Great question. I am definitely NOT a multi-tasker, although I do multi-task from time to time. It is not my preferred way to go. I need to focus on one task at hand and carry it through to completion, or set it aside and come back to it later. But doing two things at once? Do you think that it is a men vs. women issue on multi-tasking, or does it vary from person to person?

yeah multitasking for sure,,i study,,drink,,play,,watch tv,,use internet,,bett online,,eearns,,money,,i m nt mutitasking like window vista,,,so wat u up too

Hi Char, I am always multi-tasking too! I am watching a movie, talking on the phone, and typing this comment right now. I usually have the TV on as background noise. I also study my online courses and IM my friends alot at the same time during the day. I think it helps things get done faster. Take care

I'd send corrections to my students and spend some time here at myLot. Or I'd talk on the phone while doing other things. I try as much as possible to accomplish many things in a day.

I tried to in the office by checking mail during meeting. Now I had picked up the skills! If tired, I will look out the window at the sea while typing. I can do that haha..!!
