I just bought a NEO B2161N. I took it because it was cheap. Considering the price, the specs are Intel Celeron M 550 (2. GHZ), 1 GHZ RAM, 80 GB HDD, Camera, Mic, Ports, Video Card with Shared memory, CD-DVD Combo. I got it for 22,500 Pesos which is about 450 USD.
How do you see this unit? Is it good for networking purposes?
Thanks and Happy posting!

Well, it's really up to your usage. My Neo doesn't put me down. Though I'm really considering that it's really too early to say.

Personally, I don't like Neo laptops. When I was just planning to get myself a laptop, I did a search about Neo and I found so many negative feedbacks from other Neo users themselves. Yes, Neo may cost cheaper as compared to other brands but it is not advisable for heavy users -- well, there are Neo users who even said that their units only lasted eight months. Also, there's my sister's Neo notebook which heats up a lot that it is a must to have the cooling pad on everytime she's using it. I'm a heavy user and my Asus unit is on almost 24/7 yet it never heats up like my sister's Neo. Oh, I'm just so glad I didn't go for a Neo myself.

Thanks for the information. Fortunately, even if I have a Neo Laptop today, i'm not that of a heavy user, at least somehow, it is safe from overheating...

I have NEO Q-note, which I bought March 2007, contrary to most of the replies here I have positive remarks about the Neo Q-note I bought. It's been over a year and it is perfectly doing fine. I'm sort of heavy user since I use this more than 10 hours a day, that's why I'm thinking of buying a cooling pad to ease up heating.
