I have seen them and they are fascinating but I don't know much about them. I imagine you have to be a great artistic horticulturalist to make them properly.

I just started this new hobby after establishing my vegetables after a lady pulled up two Maple seedlings from the woods for me. We were collecting herbs but I have always admired bonsai's and figured better now than never. OMG, they looked so pathetic by the time I got them home because I promised my girls I'd take them to the park and it was a beautiful day so there was no rush. Once I got them home that night I just kind of left them in the bag looking at them like what I could do for them since I didnt have any soil on hand at that moment--I dropped them in a glass of water pushing their roots all the way down hoping for the best--dont you know they were like new upon waking up! It was a real eye opener to me just how resilent trees are and displayed almost a magnifigence to me. I immediately fell in love with them and have been walking them around my home so they get just the right lighting (indirect) being ever so careful. i cant wait to bring them outside once april showers let up a little its been chilly at night and Im reading up on that.
