how the hell can i get over my ex if i see him every single freaking day?!

we're studying in the same school and live in the same neighborhood and so, i see him almost every day. We tend to give casual smiles everytime we see each other. For him, it simply means that we're friends but it only makes me remember the times we shared. How can i get over him?
