Hi, anybody could tell me how to increase my mylot rating quicjklt? What I should do? I found some people just make less than 400 replies, but the rating is 10, and some people replied more 3000, but the rating still is 6? Thanks

we have no control over the rating, its up to mylotters to rate us.. now my rating for instance was a 9, and quickly.. then suddenly its down to 8 just like that, and i do not understand why because i am never rude to people to want to give me negative.. If i was you, i wouldn't worry about it cos as quickly as you can get high rating you can loose it and then it feels like a kick in the teeth.. its not a nice feeling to know some for no reason can give negative. Rating don't affect earnings anyway, so i have heard.. i think its more important to get amount of posts up.. so that you can use emoticons, and then at 500 posts you be able to copy and post..

ok becuase its all i am doing now... i dont care about rating anymore, if people due to what ever reason can give negative for their opinion, it sucks sorry but do.. i wont stop way i am, and if some mylotters dont like my honesty and having my own opinion then its their problem, not mine :)) i am not an a55 licker hehe good luck to you and happy posting

Yes, That's true. So atleast you know that No. of poests is not the key to your reputation in mylot. But the key is to make Quality post, I even found some mylotters with just near 200 posts having a rating around 97. Just see, you never try to increase no. posts at the cost of Quality of posts. Even my reting was a bit down when I reached over 100 posts, but I knew the key was to post quality posts. just try to give your best at every post and if someone likes your post , you will be automatically rated with a "+" sign that will increase your rating . Remember this and then even reputation of 100/100 is not impossible. Best of Luck

You get your star automatically when you reach 100 posts so you won't know your rating until then. After that the number of posts you've made has nothing to do with what number your star is. The star is based on the quality of your posts and how other users rate them. If you get a lot of positive ratings you'll have a higher star number. If you get more negative ratings you'll have a lower number. Just try to post longer, helpful, and on topic posts and you'll probably see a higher number.

It depends upon the quality of your discussions. If your discussion is good.A user will rate you. That way you can increase your rating in mylot.

Rating depends on the positive and the negative feedbacks that you get from people who read you and rate you. On mylot you must keep every step nicely and very carefully. By my own experience on mylot i've been rated 10 and then next day i found myself on 6

now that sounds like what i have already said here rocker.. basically the rating as far as i am concerned sucks.. you be honest or just say your own opinion and someone not like it and can give negative.. its wrong.. my rating has gone down.. but, i dont care anymore, i will continue being me.. who cares about a stupid star hmm smetimes i am fedup that people act so childish and not accept peoples opinions, i thought thats whole point of this, differences.. o well... good luck to you. and i am sorry you had problems here
