Do you like to attend Fairs? and how much have they changed?

I used to love going to fairs, they arent as good now as they used to be though. When i was younger we could save coke and pepsi bottle caps to get in free and ride rides all day. I remember the fairgrounds were so packed our parents would take us for a couple days and let us just run the grounds and ride rides and enjoy ourselves. games didnt cost much food was cheap and of course we always went on pepsi and coke days that was a sure fire shot we were gonna be on rides all day long!!!! lol lol lol todays fairs are nothing compaired to how they used to be. In my area at least they are small fairs with few rides and few games and cost like $5.00 to play a game which your not going to win anyways cause they are rigged up. Back in my day we would go home with tons of fair prizes. its just unfair sometimes how life changes how our children are going to miss those fun events. share with me your thoughts on fairs and how they were when you were a child.
