What do you look for in an on-line dating site? I have got one on-line dating site at the moment (listed on my profile)but I am thinking of starting another one and would like to know what people look for before deciding to join. What kind of features do people want? Are you happy to pay for a good service? Any comments or ideas would be much appreciated - thanks.

I am in a relationship now but before I joined some sites. I looked for free ones and I looked for sites that you could respond to someone or send a message yourself. you might look up pasionete personels or something like that. If it is still up. It was pretty good and free. Posting a picture also helps. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I am considering making my next dating site completely free to use if possible.

Type in free online dating. Try and find passionette personals it is totally free, or at least it was. If things keep going the way they are I'll be looking it up too.

You can do some homework and check out sites that compare different date sites. I have used Yahoo before, my friend used eHarmony, both of us have had some decent hits/dates. If a site doesnt give you the option to search for free (before signing up), then move on. All sites should allow you to window-shop sites.

That is a good idea - thanks. The site I run at the moment lets you search through profiles for free and lets you set up your own profile for free as well. It is a good site, but I am thinking of setting up another one which is completely free. Thanks for your advice.
