Scientists say two drugs that mimic exercise may help you shed pounds without breaking a sweat. The two chemical compounds--GW1516 and AICA--have been found to mimic the physiological effects of exercise in recent animal studies. Mice given the compounds burned more fat and were able to run significantly longer on a treadmill than animals who did not take the compounds. While there have been no studies done on humans yet, experts say the results are likely to be the same, and they hope that the substances can be used in medications to treat obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

Do you believe this? A pill that makes your body think you exercised. Read the full store to find out.

I saw that on CNN and also that it is available right now for the bargain basement price of $5000 per pill. That is insane....LOL. Have people become so lazy that they can't get of their butt's and just exercise or eat properly? I'll give my full response as soon as I have finished this donut and watched the final 5 hours of Greys Anatomy that I have on my Tivo.

LOL I just got done eating a slice of turtle pie, it was yummy. I am not a big fan of bread in general (to be honest I hate the stuff) but I'll eat the chocolate glazed ones if they are fresh. Enjoy your show.

I think its possible and would be great for people who really need it and are worried about having surgury complications. Theres alot of amazing research like this going on out there but because of the strict processes for approval by the FDA theres no telling how long it will take or if it will ever be approved.

I have heard about it and saw something on the internet about it yesterday but I'm not taking it, will not swallow it and don't buy it's claims for one minute. If it works good for someone else that is great but I'm not going to put anything into my body that is going to trick it like that. If I want to exercise (which I have started doing regularly) then I will do it the old fashioned way.

It sounds interesting. I think that it could prove bad for the sports world but, it sounds like it could do wonders for people that have muscular issues. There's always bad with good. I would like to see what it can do for humans though.

I would deffinatly take the pill. I also amd exercising so that would just be an added boost. Instead of your body thinking you only exercised for an hour, it would think that you exercised for 2 hours. It would be great if you were serious about loosing lots of weight.

They had something on the news about this this morning. How it can boost your metabolism. For me, I will stick to exercising. I think it may be healthier and safer. We have become such a quick fix nation. And quicker isn't always better.

And there are already a lot of those out there. Just got to Walmart. They have a whole section for weight loss products. Most of them are around thirty to forty dollars for a months supply and they sell lots of them and yet they do not help very many people.

Cool! Thanks for sharing! I'm sure this pill will be a big hit among men and women especially those who don't have time to exercise. I can't wait for this product to go on the market. I've been hitting the gym 6 times a week for the past month now because I don't have anything else to do and it has really done wonders for my body. I especially like the feel of sweating after a good workout. It makes me think that the toxins are being flushed out of my body. I wonder if this exercise pill will aslo make me sweat?

A high dose of thyroxin (thyroid hormone) will also raise your metabolism and burn fat.

Sounds great, but wait for sometime, they will come out with articles and research papers on its various side effects. It is better to sweat if you want to lose weight. And the best way out is to enjoy that round shape and eat whatever you like without giving a damn for weight.
Cheers and happy mylotting

This would be really nice ^^
I want it ^^ Then i can excercise while I am at the computer^^
Although it is strange that a simple pill could train your (entire?) body..
If it works then it could come in handy for lots of people who have problems with training or even can't train ^^
Think some atletes will also take these pills combined with their normal training scheme, but I think this should be forbidden, because I find it not fair against other atletes who don't use it, then they will use it too and we will become a pill-society..
