i also do not like windows vista much but still i am using windows vista on my pc. i love xp. but windows xp crashes a lot more then windows vista. windows vista have some irritating new features but vista do not crash like windows xp. so i am using windows vista. now microsoft also not providing any update for windows xp.

about games i am agree with you my friend. there is no hope for games in windows vista. for games windows Xp is best. i even used windows 98 to play some games because few games not work on Windows xp too.
i used windows xp alot and i still love windows xp.

Downgrading is very much possible, but can also be a complicated task if you don't have an XP install CD prepared. There's a nice article in the PCMagazine that explains how to downgrade from Vista: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2287685,00.asp

It would be a lot nicer to dual boot Vista and XP than downgrading it to just XP, you probably just not adjusted to it now but later on most windows would be in vista. When that time come you just select it in boot menu and your Vista. Just have a qualified install to do it. The procedure is basically the same as downgrade.
