is it true that I can get a downgrade for my computer if I have Vista? I really wish I had XP. I bought this computer with Vista and have not liked it since day one.

vista sucks because it is not compatible with many softwares. Really! I cannot install many of my favourite games becasue of this problem. I tried to, but no luck. Until now, my XP never crashed with any software, so I feel fine using it

Downgrading is very much possible, but can also be a complicated task if you don't have an XP install CD prepared. There's a nice article in the PCMagazine that explains how to downgrade from Vista: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2287685,00.asp Good luck in your endeavors!

It would be a lot nicer to dual boot Vista and XP than downgrading it to just XP, you probably just not adjusted to it now but later on most windows would be in vista. When that time come you just select it in boot menu and your Vista. Just have a qualified install to do it. The procedure is basically the same as downgrade.

Yes you are able to downgrade your computer. I did it. My computer is installed with Vista when I bought it, but I brought it to the place where I bought the computer and I made it downgraded to xp because don't like vista too

Yes you can install XP on it - but you have to get a copy of XP. I think also if you do it you lose your rights to Vista. I hate Vista, I got rid of it and put XP on my machine very quickly.
