What are your favorite bands?

So, myLotters, what are your top five favorite bands and why? Personally, I probably don't listen to enough variety of music to actually determine my favorites. But I'm willing to listen to any recommendations in this discussion thread.

I dont really have any 5 bands that r my favorite... I just listen to country becaus eit reminds me of a story from my past... in almost every country song there is a story being told... and sometimes you can relate to it or know of someone who did...

Ahh, that's interesting. I might listen to some more country music just to check it out. I don't listen to it much normally. Thanks for the suggestion!
