It really amazes me. how many people take mylot in different sense and are here just to promote their referal to other sites. few adys back i accepted friend request to an user as I always do. Just today he has sent a referal link to be a referal under him in some sites. It was all advertisement about some sites. I am really irritated by them. Many just take this nice forum and missuse it to promote their online business. what is your opinion

While I can say that I've gotten more referrals from myLot for my other programs than from any other source, I hate spammers! My referrals come because I post a discussion about a program and either say how good it's been for me, or ask if any one knows about it because I don't want to join a scam. Then most of the time we exchange referals if we each have something the other one wants. This is being part of a community and supporting each other. When I first started in myLot, I'd accept any friend request I got. I've now gotten to the point I look at their profile and see if they've posted anything that looks like they want to be a part of the myLot community or if they're just here to make money. I'm amazed at how many of them never post to any other interest than make extra money. No, they're not here to be part of the community, they're here only to promote other sites. But really it's their loss. They don't know what a great community we have here.

You are right. All of us here to earn money in this money making site. So here all of us have the same wish. Thats why they think that it is the best way to sell their referal links. But i have never done this.Because i've only two money making sites. Thanks

i also agree about this view. some people use it desperately that makes you feel bad. but i would suggest that you take it lightly. there are many who earn online. even mylot is paying you for your posts. so people are inclined to use it with the mind set of earning and earning promotion. if you receive any request you may just polietily reject. i wish that you don't have to take it so close to heart to feel very bad. i am also aganinst it and stand by your views but lets not go hard against those people. lets tell them politely and that they shall understand and make this a better place for all of us.

The reason it's so frustrating though is because if you have some other businesses to promote but you don't because you know it's against the rules, it's not fair to see these people who are breaking the rule. They probably are getting referrals and making money because they break the rule and post their links, which isn't right.

I am so glad you posted. I know I am new but I joined to have some fun and discuss some issues. It seems that every other topic is a new site to earn money or people questioning how much money can be made online. Money is a plus when you are on the internet but I don't count on paying my bills with it. I do have a regular job and this is a hobby. It just gets frustrating trying to find an interesting topic and you have to scan through a ton of topics of people wanting you to join their site.

Hi subha, You know what? I have only been here 3 days and have seen loads, and loads of what you are speaking of. I am even tired of seeing this, and like I said it has only been 3 friggin' days, it makes me wonder what people are here for.

I agree, To many users have been doing that and them just posting discussions about a making extra money site. Just makes Mylot boring and no fun. I find it very hard sometimes to find a good discussion even if I can't relate to it I try my best to give my best answer on that subject. with all these join this paying program Discussions have made me dislike mylot a little. Trust me your not the only one irritated with all these people sending me messages about joining this site blah blah blah blah ... Mylot is not a place to adverts your own site but to make some extra money every time you post. Soon or latter thats all were going to see is Discussions about joining A paying program. It's slowly become that. For example on the Interest "Make Extra Money" thats all you see is discussions talking about a paying program.. Well yeah take care and keep posting..

Hi subha, definitely I would feel unpleasant if receiving PMs from new approved friends who sending links asking me to join member to the money making sites only, instead of paying much concern about mylot. I believe what they interested here are just to promote their referral links. I notice that they were active here just for a very short period only. I also found the discussions and responses they had made here were totally been deleted all together. posting and take care.

They take the opportunity to invite members here to become their referrals on their other sites. But not all of us here are interested. So we can ignore them. Or if their offer is good, we can join them.

He probably read the same book or e-book that everyone else has read during the past year...that tells them to join social network sites and promote their links. I think it's like in the old days when they told real estate people to go to church for sales leads. That was tacky too.

I have not had any of my friends send me referral links in private messages unless I have asked in a specific discussion. In terms of the forum and discussions that a few have commented on, if it's in the 'make extra money' sections, I have no problem with that as I think that's what the section is there for, for people to share and discuss with others ways to make extra money and some myLotters ask for tips really and people are 'helpful' and give them I would suggest for anyone that's bothered with it to ignore it. I often tune out of that section altogether and visit and post in other interests that turn out to be more interesting actually

HAI Subha, I don't like people who are here to mylot ONLY for promoting their referral links. We are not allowed to post referral links in discussions. I report to mylot if i see any rule violations. But whats wrong with telling about sites to those who are interested in it. What i mean is that FOR EXAMPLE, i like to know about other paid forums and sites which help to earn me some extra bucks, so i respond to those discussions. If the site is good to earn, i will join them. Many sites give bonus to users who introduce new users to their community. Don't forget that mylot also gets referrals from other forums. I have sent PMs to my friends about sites which i thought may help them to earn. I won't sent links if they are not interested.

Well there is no rule against promoting them other than waiting til after you have 500 pts, however i do feel that some ppl overdue it, and get carried away. I have banners on my profile page for just a few sites i use, but my key reason or the use of the site, is the social aspect, and for the advice that ppl all over the world can give ya on things u need help with.

I guess some people do not have ideas about spamming. They did it wthout having any knowledge about it. It's certainly annoying to be bombarded by such links. I've never done that and i'll never will though i join some of the earning sites too. I think mylot means more than just making extra money for me. And your discussion helps mylot to remind some of them not to do so again, i think.

Well Im guessing you are visting the make extra money forum, of course alot of people there are going to be spamming their refferal links like there's no tommorow. Free money is a HUGE draw for people for instance this site would NOT be as popular as it is if people were not given money for free for using it. I understand alot of people like the community but if the money appeal was gone alot of people would leave and the forums would become slow and boring. I myself am generally tempted to put down refferal links due to the fact that "Hey, If I put a refferal link here hopefully someone will use it and I'll get extra money!" Although I do agree that the amount of people who spam with "JOIN NOW FREE MONEY SAVED MY MARRIAGE" or something stupid are annoying as hell but at the end of the day you can't blame them there is the temptation of money there for them and alot of people tend to have no self-control.

hello friend I think people here want to make more earning with the referral links. So if joined some making money online websit, they will promote their referrals links to their friends or colleagues for extra benefits. Even some websits are not reliable. In my opinion,if they have verified that the websit is genuine and reliable, They can promote them within the freinds' permission.i think it is more plite wihtout bother. good luck to you
