So I spent part of today watching updates on this show on MTV. I should know better, but it is like watching a train wreck. The whole premise of this show is that young couples are engaged and preparing for their weddings (and by young I mean that the older of the couple is generally not more than about 21 or 22 years old.) Often their parents have serious misgivings about the wedding, but the couple is determined to defy all odds and all advice. Sometimes they don't even have jobs but are living with the parents. When I first started watching this show last season, I thought that it was supposed to be kind of suspenseful. For example, will they or will they not decide to get married? Will they change their minds and decide to wait? However, every single couple ends up getting married. I think the show would be better if some of the couples at least that are profiled would change their minds. What do you think? Does anybody else watch this show?

I watched the show, and like you was surprised with the outcomes. They all ended up getting married. Some of them fought like cats and dogs, and seemed like they were going to break it off. Then the next day they're just as happy-go-lucky as could be. They all had different issues, and enough drama to last a life time. I saw the update show the other day and even got on the website to look at the updates. Every single one of them was "Yeah, we're doing good, we're still married" which was a shocker. None of them read of signs of true newlywed issues or struggles, it was all so sugar coated. I would have loved to see behind the seens, what really went on, and if anyone intervened at all with this show.

I am totally against this show I mean people these days are living longer and theres no need to rush in and get married should be out having fun no pressures or anything else of the like.
