Where Are You Going Next?

I am planning my next trip with a friend yesterday (because we really need a break from where we are). We were thinking about Japan earlier but it's a bit out of budget for us at the moment. So we think we will go to Taiwan for like 5 days in coming September. Been there 2.5 years ago and we think it would be a good time to go back and visit. What about you?

Good timing with this question! My fiancee and I are actually going to Las Vegas for the first time this coming weekend. We fly out from here this Friday morning and are taking a redeye flight back, so we will be getting back early next Tuesday morning. We are both looking forward to it very much - through some family connections our hotel stay for the duration is free, and on top of that we've never actually been to Vegas before, either of us. And it'll be our first trip together that goes out-of-state. So it is guaranteed to be a fun time... as long as neither of us passes out from the heat!

I would love to travel again to another county... i did that before i got pregnant... and i really enjoyed it a lot... but now that i have a two year old daughter... and a current financial crisis... travelling to another country is not a priority... but when everything is settled... i would love to go to Bangkok were i can do some shopping... or to Singapore... i want to see how clean that place is...

Bangkok is really fun! Hope that you could go there soon! I know how it's like to have to be with your kids and being financially difficult, but good times will come! *winks*

I took my toddler son to Latvia this year. Whilst he is young I would like to concentrate on taking him to easier destinations than more challenging ones. I know of an airline that has cheap flights to Canada but accommodation over there seems a bit pricey in the big cities. I would fly either to Toronto or Vancouver and Vancouver is one place near the top of my travel wish list. Cape Town is another city that is close to the top of my travel wish list. I wonder if I would be able to get a reasonably priced flight there. I know the accommodation costs are not too expensive. I love tropical islands most of all and think that Mauritius would be wonderful but too pricey to fly to. Tobago or Grenada would be cheaper places to fly to. As the tropics is my favorite sort of destination I would love to get my toddler son used to going there. Yes, I have heard Japan is expensive and Taiwan might be a better choice of destination or you. Happy travels.

You have fun too! Japan is expensive but it's still bearable, but since I don't speak the language, it would require quite a lot of planning beforehand. As we are quite busy these days, it would be better to opt for somewhere with easier planning.

Good timing, as I am on a trip now. I wasn't going to hang out on line while on the road, but it is fun to check in once in a while from my nifty smartphone. The keypad is not huge but at least it is QWERTY. I hear the eating is good in Taiwan. If you go, have fun! Too bad you cannot stay longer. I would love to spend at least a month there.

Yea I went there once and the food was absolutely delicious! I miss that! Checked out some packages today and hopefully my friend and I could go there this September! That would definitely be something to look forward to. You have fun too!

We are tentatively planning a trip to England early next year and my husband just got word it might also include Scotland. So we are very excited about that! It's always fun to explore new places and meet new people. I love the architecture in England and am looking forward to seeing it again. Hope your trip to Taiwan will be everything you want it to be. I think doing the upfront research on any trip is at least half of the fun of the trip. Take care.

My husband and I are thinking of going to visit relatives in Montreal Quebec in the next year or so. I am working towards airmiles on my credit card (pre-paid card so i won't build up debt for using it), and when we get enough, we are going to go.

We've taken a lot of trips this summer. Most were driving somewhere, a few hours away, for either the day or the weekend. I've been gone almost every weekend this summer. And I'm not done yet! This weekend I'm going camping with my family. Then the following week we leave on our 2nd BIG trip this summer - 3 days in California, 3 days in Las Vegas, 3 days in Salt Lake City, then another day in Las Vegas. After that, we're staying home for a while :)

Hello wondericequeen, I don't have any travel plans yet. I have been thinking to pay a visit to my auntie in Singapore. My husband did mention of going to Thailand but I am not too sure as I have a bit tight schedule and I almost finish up my annual leave for a short trip throughout my country.

I don't know, probably just to little towns around here. I was just told that I either sell more, or I'm out of a job. I have 2 weeks to improve sales or I'm done.
