So many of us believe that having more money would solve most,if not all of our problems.Of course money can't buy happiness but wait wow it could do a lot relieve some stress and make life easier, right? Wrong.
Being a millionaire is a surefire recipe for unhappiness. It's even got a name Wealth fatigue syndrome You know celebrities, popular people around the world have this wealth fatigue syndrome, they are suffering from boredom and emptiness, super rich houses, yachts, cars and planes are like new toys that they play with for five minutes and then lose interest in.Pretty soon,to attain the same buzz they have to spend more money and all the spending is a mad attempt to cover up boredom and depression Millionaires and billionaires happy people at least on the out side.
Money in other words is like a drug, the more you have, the more you need to get a buzz. When a first class plane ticket no longer satisfies, today's wealthy board private jets. When that feels common, they buy a private jumbo jet.And so on..
For one thing, great wealth brings new problems, maybe you don't have to worry about cleaning the house(the maid will do it)or paying the bills. But now you have to worry about hundreds of friends and relatives asking for money. And your investment crashing and your kid turning into a spoiled brat. And the question is whether your girlfriend or boyfriend loves you or your money.
Wanna be a millionaire? and why or why not?

I would love to be a millionaire. I would have no problem having
too much money. I'll take my chances. I have been poor long
enough. I would spend what I wanted and put away enough. Give
some to who I want and live the way I want. No need to go
crazy buying jets and such. Wouldn't mind a nice house on
some island but no need to overextend myself. Just want to
be comfortable and happy and not have to worry about paying
the bills. When you have been worrying all your life like I
have you really don't need much to be happy. Just enough to
have a nice comfortable existence with some luxuries added in!

I have never heard of wealth fatigue syndrome! That makes me laugh. This concept is beyond my understanding. I do not want to be a millionaire. Sure I would like to be a bit more comfortable than I am right now. I would much rather be able to take my girls back to school clothes shopping without worrying about if WalMart will have any good sales. Money doesn't make you happy. My girls have their health and their happiness. Can you put a price on that? No way. My husband loves me and comes home every night after work and spends his time with his family. Can you put a price on a good husband/father? Absolutely not. I'm already rich in all the ways that matter.

Money is very very necessary in life, and if you have excess, there is always charity to do. In India, we have a very very rich man called Mr. Ratan Tata, a Parsi gentleman who is head of the Tata empire. So also we have another man called Mr.Godrej who again is a multi multi millionaire, but you have to hand it out to both these Parsi gentleman for they have shared their wealth with the poor setting up charitable trusts to help, and going out of their way to bring some peace and prosperity to their less fortunate brethren. So, being wealthy does not necessarily mean problems. Id love to have money and be like them.

If i were to become a millionaire, i wouldn't be one long. There are so many charities that i think needs support (not to mention certain border Patrols families) that it would be mostly gone in just a little while. Besides if my kids were raised as millionaires kids i would be terrified that they would turn into Paris and the like, then i would have to kill them! And i really do love my children and want to see them grow up to be productive (for something other than the paparazzi's purse) adults.

Wow, that sounds scary. I wasn't aware that money was sort of like a virus that could make you sick. Now if only more of us can catch it like the flu LOL!!!
I don't really want to be a millionaire; I just want to have enough money for my family's needs.

Give me the money honey I will chance this wealth fatigue syndrome...lol Sorry I dont understand that totally. I already have the love of my life and all the family and friends that I need. Anyone else that tried to befriend me after I came into money I wouldnt really have a use for. Im not a trusting soul anyways so...
To be able to not worry about money and buying clothes and even the bills I cant even imagine. Sure there is a few things that I would do that others might think man she is going over but I think anyone would that came into lots of money. I also think it has to do with your own happiness that is within yourself.
Boredom and depression hits everyone I think at some point. How you handle it rich or poor is a personal decision unless it is medical. In the end I would take the money if handed to me!

hi roshand8
I don't want to be a millionaire, because the things I do now would not be the same, I would like to have enough to pay off my mortage and buy a new house and get a new car. The people who have all this money don't know what to do with it. Sure they travel, have their boats, house, everything, but they are also bored. I wish that I could meet one and ask him to trade places with me for a week. Or for the person to live with me for week, and see how they like it. My house has no A/C, Heater, no pool. And no we can not go shopping everyday. Since we both don't have any money, it has to be for ourselves. Another thing, I would never tell my friends that I came into money.

I would rather have money than not have, but I think your question is if I want to have much more than I need, like millions more, and that is a very difficult question, personally I think I would be satisfied with having enough to live comfortably and then enough extra income to be able to spend on things I enjoy, you know like travel, buy the best computer around, and if I have an emergency of any sort know that I can handle it financially. If I were a multimillionaire things would be more difficult, I'd have to have security, I'd have a public image (I don't like publicity) so I think I would settle with just being comfortably well off. That being said, you must also realize that I have never been a millionaire and I can only imagine what it would be like, so I guess my thinking would probably change if I were to get my hands on that kind of money.

Oh no!!!ive no desire to be a millionaire at all!!it would take away all of the fighting in life, the times that you have to save to buy things that you want, and when you get them you are reallly pleased with them,if you could go along and have anything you wanted the whole purpose of life would vanish..that my opinion anyway!

i would not want to be a millionaire per say but i sure as heck would like to know what it is like not to have to struggle to make ends meet from week to week or to worry if i have enough to pay the bills and eat or get my car fixed that is now going on 8 years old. i would like to be much more comfortable financially but i do not see that happening in my lifetime unless i win the lottery or meet someone who wants to fork over some dough.

Well honestly I really wouldn't want to be a billionaire because honestly having so much money to spend wouldn't really give me satisfaction. Honestly I just want to have enough money for my expenses and a little extra to treat myself to a good restaurant, a movie or anything that could bring me relaxation

i think the only problem if you have so much money is the kidnappers, holdappers and carnappers. but, it will solve all the crisis in your life. it will give you more chance to do what you want to do in your life. thats my personal view.

I don't think I would want to be a millionaire, even though it may be something I think about.
I just want to be comfortable. Be able to pay my bills each month without having to juggle my finances. If the washer breaks down I can replace it without having to save up forever to buy a new one.
Of course I fantasize about opening my door to see some guy holding a huge "You won 10 million dollars" cardboard check. I know exactly what would happen. Neighbors I've never spoken to would be knocking on my door all night. I'd probably pack up the kids and cats then go to the hotel I used to work at just to gloat at my old boss.
"I'm richer than you are." LOL
Family always comes first. I'd make up to some Christmases we had nothing.
I wouldn't mind helping out friends. I have one friend I would help out, but only if she divorced her husband.
I would never sit on my butt doing nothing. I've had this idea for a crafters getaway for some time. I'd do that and keep really busy.

I never wanted to be rich. I'd like to be able to pay my bills and not have to worry about where the grocery money is going to come from, but beyond that, nope.
My needs are simple and I am quite content to make do with much less than most people. I would like to be able to help others, though.

I always wanted to be a millionaire. Not only for my self.
Not only to help my family but for the poor and the beggars
in the street. I always have this dream of wanting to help
them. But i know I couldn't help them yet. They couldn't apply
for jobs because they have less education, they are poor.
I want to change their lives. Stop their suffering and give
them hope, something to look forward to. I will create a
livelihood projects for them. There in that company they will
be accepted not because of their education , but what they are
capable of doing.
I know I'm just dreaming. But such a beautiful dream. Who knows
maybe I'll make it.

Being wealthy is enjoyable if one knows how to spend all the money. The source of the millions is also an important factor. If those came from a clean source not illegal or fraudulent, then it's worth the happiness. But the most important thing is to not focus on the wealth but focus on the GIVER of these wealth; GOD.
