Everybody loves to go to the beaches especially when time of summer..You go for vacation with your family, friends or special someone..It's fun to swim isn't it? But I prefer going to a beach with white sands on the seashore and no rocks at all..
What about you friends, Which do you prefer Sandy or Rocky Beaches?

Hi Slepart! I love any kind of beach, they are so relaxing! I definatly prefer a sandy beach over a rocky beach. The sand is so much easier to lay on and relax. I won't turn down going to a rocky beach either, but sandy beaches are definatly my favorite. Take care.

Sandy beaches! I cut my feet a few times in rocky beaches and did not realize it was bleeding until I came out from the water.

i guess sandy beach are more comfortable to swim with..since our feet will not be hurt or sore by stepping those rocks on the water bed..so painful..and that of course includes the path near the beach..white sands are my preferences..

Sandy beaches are my choice, too. Although, there are some sandy beaches in my area (Clearwater, Florida) that also have columns of rocks going out into the water. They can be fun to climb on! I just have to be in the mood for walking on the rocks. Our beaches have such beautiful white sand and it is so warm when you let it run between your fingers and toes. I came from a much colder climate and can't imagine moving make to the cold weather again. The only white stuff I want to see is the beautiful sand on our sandy white beaches.

I prefer white or yellow sandy beaches, black sandy beaches have hot sand. I don't like beaches with just rocks or pebbles as much. I like to swim where the beach has little sea weed in the way. I like the water to be fairly warm. In my home country we have some pretty beaches but the weather can be cold and the sea can feel freezing. Before I moved my local area had some sandy beaches and some pebbly beaches. I saw rocky beaches when I was in Croatia. Now I live near sandy beaches like Sand Bay a wild looking beach that my dogs enjoy racing up and down the sand dunes. Weston super Mare's town beach has two piers and is only busy with tourists if we have hot weather. It is only possible to swim at high tide, at low tide dangerous mud flats are exposed. Uphill Beach is sandy and it has views to a piece of land that juts out into the sea and the islands Steep Holm and Flat Holm. I love to travel and overseas my favorite beach has got white sand, palm trees and a warm ocean.
