I'm curious guys what do you do when you feel so stress? And how do you handle stress? I don't really know what to do when I feel so much stress, just like now, I dont have much sleep, too tired for the whole week, I even lose appetite... Have you encounter situations like this? What did you do to overcome and be back to normal?

I drink hot tea. Green or mint tea somehow relaxes me. Then I make a silent prayer for God to get me through that stressful situation...with flying colors, if possible.

Well, I just don't love the taste of tea, not even a milk...I have tasted it once but never did I try it again, haha, maybe the brand of the tea wasn't good enough. Could you give me some idea what's the best brand of tea you ever tasted?
Thanks anyway!

yes, i'm also a peppermint tea drinker. i've stopped drinking coffee 5 years ago. Twinnings' peppermint tea and green tea are the best for me. otherwise, i settle for Lipton. :-)

i'm a person who can't sleep without finishing the work which i'm supposed to do within the day which leads me to stress.. well, to overcome this, i usually give myself a break for a while, treat myself for some ice cream or delicious treats since i love to eat and most pf all, after i have completed my tasks, which is usually when i feel very very very stressed, i tend to sleep more than the usual for me to gain my strength..

That's what Im having a problem with, I can't even sleep, and do lose my appetite. When I go to bed, my mind is still awake not until 2-3 hours until I get sleep and that would only be 30 minutes of sleep. I don't really know what's going on with me, since I don't even have a big problem that's bothering me.

i had a friend who always believed that "ice cream solves everything". well, maybe not everything but it somehow improves your mood.
guess you have to learn to get your mind off your work even for a few minutes to somehow relieve your stress. counting to 20 also helps.

Hi there Sharie,
First of all I would like to tell you that every person has his/her unique way of getting rid of their stress. For e.g. if you take me couple f months ago I had a very hectic schedule because of my studies and my office. The greatest stress buster for me is watching cartoons, it really carries of all my stress. If you like it you can also try it. However I still believe that you will automatically find your stress buster. Some work or activity that takes all of your attention and at that particular periopd of time you are not able to think anything else.
With Regards
Atul

Hi sharie16, I look for some thing to do and make myself busy. I clean the house, wash my clothes or even watching movies at home..just to make me relax and convert my feelings to other things. It's hard when I can't handle my problem and when I experienced stress, I see to it to look for someone to talk to and share my feelings to them. And If not, I just think by myself and think of the right thing to do..and then things will be get to normal just for a whole day. Just manage things as you can, relax and don't think too much. Take care of your self and still eat on time so you can still of the things you wanna do. Find time to have a break. Happy myLot.

Thanks to that! Yeah thats what I notice, my mind was too busy thinking...it was too occupied..I don't really know how to relax it for sometime. I do watch movie, but after that the feeling was still there. So I really bet I just get my self busy, I suppose that would make me feel tired and go to sleep..LOL... And I guess your right, maybe I really need sometime to take a break..
Thanks again!

my best stress buster is the gym. generally, i work out for 1 hour in the morning and 1- 1.5 hrs in the evening. but when the stress levels are high, i pump in more for some 30-40 minutes till i get exhausted. i get too tired to think about the stress. the physical pain easily over rides the mental stress and i have a quite nice sleep.
