anyone (male or female) will have the possesive thoughts in them especially when they feel treatened or the other party cant be trusted If your partner .. is good looking, and if you have seen others glancing at them and smilling at them .. you will feel treatened and want to show your authority if your partner .. is always doing something behind your your back, always has good excuses, never let you see his phone for sms or calls .. they you have to act possessive cheers

i think all humans are possessive, once they have it they don't want to let go of it, and if they want to share it, they make sure that it will still be theirs in the end.

I think being possessive has nothing to do with gender but rather on the person himself and how she/he was brought up. Men and are equally possessive of persons and things they value most.
