hamilton failed to become the next person to win 3 straight GP after he punctured his tire, was sent to 11th place but crawled back to fifth place until the chequered flag came out. guess what who won? the other mclaren who kept pace with massa when massa over took hamilton right from the start. unfortunate things happen for massa, with 3 laps more to go, massa's ferrari was smoking and forced him to retire after leading the race from the start. the reliability of ferrari's cars show up again in hungaroring, failing to finish the race. kovalainen took the chequered flag and won his maiden grand prix. kimi was third and hamilton was able to take the fifth place.
