I've been watching my two year old grandson learn English since he started to talk and it started with him learing to identify objects and people. A few months ago he started putting two or three words together in short sentences. We all talk to him a lot so the more he listens the more he learns to create sentences. For instance, he used to ask for his brother by saying "Joey?", then he learned from listening to us to us "Where Joey?" and then "Where Joey go?". Soon he will learn to insert other words like "Where did Joey go?" or "Where is Joey?" So, learning a language naturally for a young child is by listening and practicing. Rosetta Stone has a very good language program that you can use on your computer to learn many languages. We used it at the college where I used to work.

thank u for sharing the method... at school, teachers always teacher us english as a subject not as a language... i don't like the way they do to train us as a examing machine...it's helpless to be english speaker, isn't it? i guess talk to more native speakers like you will do good to me, i can get much from the chat ~~ thanks again...
