We have a chug (chihuahua/pug). She pretty much does what she wants but not in an out-of-control way. It's a good thing she's a small dog because if she starts acting up, then we can just pick her up and put her somewhere else. We have tried to train her but it seems like she has a mind of her own. Plus, it doesn't help that there are at least three people trying to teach her to do this and that in different ways. She is our baby! And we love her very much.

I have a boxer/lab/pitbull mix and she is oh so obediant. I got all my techniques from tv actually. The show is called its me or the dog. Basically you have to be strict with your dog. reward reward reward. use short one syllable comands.you have to make every visitor know that you are training and that they know what the commands are too. boxers are stubbourn but they will get it. be consistant. I had her listening to my father in 2 days because I told him what to say to her. It was more of training my dad at that point. lol.
hiope this helps,
Cyndi

Hi vimaal,
Our pets are really obedient! They easily follow the rules especially if they hear Dad's voice! My Parents and Sister takes time to train them, I don't spend so much time playing and training them since every time I will visit our Parents, all I want to do is help my Mother in the kitchen!

hmm rules for my pets. I'm not sure if I actually do have any. My cats are allowed to do pretty much what they want. The only thing they are not allowed to is roam outside. My country is not really tolerant of stray cats so it is dangerous for them outside. There is nothing else that they can't do. My parents love them even more than they love me. If my cats break something, it is my fault for not putting it properly. I'm not complaining though, my cats are like my children so I'm happy that my parents love them too. Cheers ;p

My kitten is slowly learning what she can and cannot do. She does obey our rules. Before she was having a hard time understanding what she couldn't do, but she is just a kitten and I can understand.

i only have two cats at home. my boyfriend and i really love them. however, they don't seem to understand anything i say and so, they don't obey any rule at all. but they are harmless and charming so no need for me to set rules on them.

My dogs are reasonably well behaved. The Akita is having some issues with behaving while we are eating but then she is only 6 months old still. We are having to crate her while we eat cause she is getting out of control.
