Will your spouse use your computer when you are absent?

My laptop is better than my husband's. He seldom uses my laptop anyway as I "occupy" it all the time. Since I had an operation and I wasn't at home for more than a week. Now I am back and I am surprised that he didn't use my laptop at all It's no problem for him to use my laptop and I don't have any secrets. Perhaps he still respects my privacy

my boyfriend and i shares one laptop at home. but he respects my privacy a lot. there are even times when i give him my passwords in some of my accounts but he won't want to open it himself. i don't find any problem sharing the same computer or laptop for as long as two people respect each other's boundaries. anyway, i hope you are feeling better now.

Hi youless, We shared our Pc since I gave my laptop to my sister! He is not also opening my email and I am very sure about it but we both know our own password! He will ask me sometimes to check his mail but, I will not check it when I will not be asked for... My husband will not also open any my cellphone! It is nice really when there is so much trust! UNlike other situation, a lot of headache for nonsense jealousy! LOL!

I only sit at the computer when im at home, i dont sit on the couches or at the kitchen table..if im not in the kitchen, in the bathroom, or sleeping, this is where you find me, if i am at home. Hubby wakes up long before i do to go to work, so he gets online, or if im not home he is on here, but he knows the minute i wake up or walk in the door, he better move it or lose it..lol

Being married, and sharing all our stuff most of the time, I wouldn't mind if my wife uses my computer. Like you said, there are no secrets between us. So, no reason why she cannot use it in my absence. As long as she puts it back where it belongs so that I do not need to go hunting for it when I want to use it, I am fine.

Yes I do. In fact, some of the shots in the pictures I shared for my honeymoon, is taken by her. When it comes to marriage, there is no longer the your-thing, my-thing concept. It is usually out of respect that we do not touch or use anything which the other deemed precious. And this respect is usually mutual. But if the spouse were to want to use it, there should not be a reason why she cannot. Cos in a marriage, you SHARE! no?

It wouldn't matter if my s/o used my laptop when I wasn't around, or even if I was, but he never does. It's not like we don't have enough computers around here, 2 desktops and 2 laptops, his laptop is his work computer though. I'm sure that even if I was gone for a few days or a week, he wouldn't even think of using my laptop, for whatever reason, unless I told him too lol. I told him when I bought it that he was free to use it whenever he wanted, but he never has unless we were looking up something together lol. Of course, it would be rare that I would go out of town without it, since we keep in touch during the day mostly through emails, it's something we have done since we met 3 years ago.

Good evening, dear youless. I don't care my laptop to be used by my wife and my son, though my wife has one of hers, which is better than mine. I asked her to use mine because this summer vacation, I love to use it in the sitting room as it is spacious and cooler. But I do not use my lap top in the morning. I usually it in late afternoon and evening for some time. Good night, youless.

Hi youless! My husband does not use my laptop since his PC is better than mine. haha..However, I really don't mind if he uses mine for I have nothing to hide either. But at this time, it is me who is using his PC since my laptop need some repairs or maybe needed to be replaced already. haha..I haven't been active here lately and I am just sneaking here in mylot for a few minutes each day because my husband has so much work with his PC. Anyway, I am glad that you are fine now after the operation. I hope you will be a hundred percent well my friend! Take care always..God Bless!

I have a desktop computer, hubby has his own laptop. The desktop is on all the time, so sometimes he will go on the desktop when I am doing something else and just check his emails or go on his websites to save getting his own out. But other than that he never goes on mine.

I am surprised your desktop is on all the time, do you let it work as a server?

No, I turn it on in the morning and then it is on all day, so when I get a few minutes spare or whatever I can just get on it!

The laptop that I own is our conjugal property so my wife is free to use it anytime it is free. She does not have to seek my permission to use it. She only has to ask me if the computer or laptop she wants to use is owned by the company I work for. SFC

Surely, my wife would. She's hooked on detective games. Even on off-work days, you'll see us arguing on who will use the computer. That's why I'm planning to buy a new one hehe. If possible, a laptop again.
