First of all I would like to rectify the misconception you have. According to Darwin's theory of evolution monkey and humans have common ancestors. We have not evolved from monkeys. Monkeys have evolved from Apes and so have we. Which means monkeys and humans are on different branches of evolution.
Now coming to the point you were making. I foresee that humans will become shorter and shorter. The reason being their head would grow larger and larger due to further development of brain size. this will increase the weight of the head and to have more stability while on 2 foot the height will have to reduce to bring the centre of gravity lower.
Apart from this due to decreased use of hands and legs there is a good possibility of them reducing in strength and size as well. to the extent where they could be totally absent in the long run.
Does seem scary or now isn't it? But it wont be since in that period that would be the best suitable structure you could have.

There are specific reference's in Darwin's theory of us having evolved from "Old World Monkey's", the matter of interpretation being still subject to debate. The point here is to understand and try and visualise the concept of evolution and you have done that wonderfully well. It seems to be scary, but as you say we will probably have adapted well to it by the.
Thanks

very interesting post!
I am not much of a theorist though and would respond to this in a fun manner.
1. We would diminish in size. Specially the limbs would get shorter eventually for those would be hardly used. (much like a penguin with a larger head).
2. The brains would develop enormously and other internal organs like stomach, intestine, spleen would be metamorphosed to smaller organs.
3. We would know what the other person is thinking and this would give us access to everyone's privacy. There would be no privacy at all.
4. We would be reduced to robots for our mechanical actions and lack of ethics and values.
5. Finally totally frustrated humans would find ways to detach themselves from others would take solitary recluse to oblivion from where they would never return.
It sounds more scary!

No need to try and be a theorist Mimpi, its about having fun and I'm glad you've responded that way. I like the penguin bit.
It certainly sounds scary about reading people's thoughts and the loss of ethics and values. I only hope and wish we evolve into better human beings.
Thanks for the great response.

Aside from the occasional physiological anomaly I would think that for the foreseeable future we will just continue to get smarter, faster and more physically and mentally adept. You only have to look at things like world record times for sports etc to see that this is happening anyway. Yes we are assisted by technology as well but this also can be attributed to our natural mental progression which will continue to grow. Saying we are getting "smarter" though is also debatable as we tend to be more destructive as we evolve as well! Darwin's "Survival of the fittest" statements will certainly ring true.....

Firstly, the theory of evolution doesn't say we evolved from monkies. Secondly, you really can't tell how something will evolve. There's a lot of different things involved. Firstly, humans will probably not evolve as a whole. As you can see from our diverse skin and physical features that vary from geographical area to geographical area - we are all changing differently.

yes it is pretty true ,,we gonna change as time passes.
i think from man now it is the time for man to become Superman,,which will be greater in mind and will have some psychic powers.like moving things ,and etc.
as u can see even todays world many people have started to claim that they have psychic powers.
and what after that,,i think after that this world will end
because
either man will come to know all the answers about its existence, who is he and all that stuff.
or he will himself destroy his own life.either by war or some other natural cause.
i think it is near to end.
bye peace.

I would say larger brains. That just seems to fit our physiological growth. We will be more intelligent in time. Mankind will be better for it in my opinion.

Well, animals do not really evolve unless a beneficial trait is introduced into the species and reproduced. Meaning that we will have the current human species, as well as an evolved species, here at the same time. I do not quite see how antennae would be reproduced into the population. Larger brains is definitely a possibility. I must say that, as nice as it is to speculate, there are likely things that will happen to us in the future as far as adaptation goes that we could not even imagine possible.

I have read about it , and heard from my grand parents....
Further evolution, need to have a strong imaginary power ...
