What is the meaning of life?

Describe your opinion about what can be the meaning of life. Why are we living? what is the sense of living? Why small babies after birth they die, what is the sense of all this? For what we are living? to live and die? we suffer and die, it makes any sense?

It's actually a broad topic to discuss. It's so sad many people live and die to rot without living the kind of life God created us for.
God created all of these (earth, the universe, and everything in it) for the benefit of man and man was created to please God because only man was created according to His own image and likeness Genesis 1:26-27 (not to mean physical since God is spirit. Proof: John 4:24)

[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

John 4:24
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
All will be well if we obey God because he has prepared everything we need. All we have to do is use them rightfully. Only human beings can make God happy and we can do that by just worshipping him and obeying his will. And his will is all about man doing only good things according to what God sees good and not according to man's perception of good.
In short, we are created to worship God.

Dear clowdine, you did a research on the bible? I am roman catholic, I know that GOd created us, and we have to live our life the way he want. But I had always this question, in my opinion even God created the evil. You will tell me why? Because God had forrbidden the arc angel lucifer and now lucifer is the devil. I think that by means of that God created the evil. It;s just an opinion, I know that God is good and we are not intelligent as he is we cannot understand him. I cannot judge him, God only can judge us.
It can be the meaning of our life? To help God repay for what lucifer had done before becoming a devil?

God created only good things. Proof: Genesis 1:31
[31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
If we only realize, everything was there, food, shelter, good weather and environment for Adam and Eve and all they have to do is procreate and they didn't have to work but enjoy life. There was no sin, no malice but Lucifer blew it by being envious of God and jealous with the most important creature which is the man, and as a result, he tempted Eve and that started the fall of man. But even that happened, God still wants us to live according to his original plan but because sin has already come into the picture, it's going to be tougher for us and the only way is to follow God's laws (not merely the ten commandments given to Moses in Mt. Sinai) thru Christ. But sadly, many people don't obey God but they obey themselves and someone else which deviates the true meaning of life.

No, we have fun and die. Sometimes we just have to suffer. I think nobody has created life, so there can't be any "real" meaning for life but for me, it's having fun and, well, just living.
