Maybe it was because my husband and I were talking about the outrageous gas prices, and how weird it is to be celebrating the few cents' drop this week, when the lower price is still out of line. Anyway, in my dream people were driving tiny little cars, many of which were hybrids. My husband was going right down the center of the street -- on a horse!
No, we don't have horses, and neither of us has ever ridden one.

I also have no idea at all why there are dreams. It could be our mind slipping into our subconsciousness while we sleep. In any case, I've had interesting dreams lately. The latest one I had was quite unexpected. I made out with my trainer at work. It was shocking. The usual dreams I have are fantasies such as dragons, fairies, and monsters. But then, I have little or no idea what they meant. I could just speculate that they bring about my interests and passion, in a weird sort of way.

I think dreams usually have some meaning - a fear we're having, a hope, a problem we're not fully conscious of...there's so many different reasons for dreams.
Last night's was pretty straight-forward though; I dreamt my husband made his promotion! Nothing confusing about that one.
