do all the engineering students take admission only to get placed????

hello friends ....today thousand of people r getting admissions in engineering colleges....i hav seen 90% of peoples are totally mad about placements....
i think no body is enjoying there study....before taking admission peoples start thinking about placements....study is done only for getting placed....
is not the people are getting lost from the meaning and joy of study ????
guys plz express ur views n tell me if i m wrong anywhere...........

I hope I got your point... Yes, people now study JUST TO GET THE PLACE in any given field or endeavor without even STUDYING just for the sake of LEARNING! I hope the views of students should be geared more towards learning than just simply passing. Because LEARNING is the true essence of Education

thanks jhordie for reply....YES u r right study should be more towards learning....
but true learning will be when we love study....students are learning in sake of placement....they r just taking admission without their interest.....study is basically made to make this world beautifull but peoples are making it worse n worse....

yes MR.Munna,,today 90%of people just study to get placed.or in other words to get a job.but that is not a right way to approach the studies.people in today's world have forgotten the beauty of education.they just cram things.I think it is actually the problem of society which develops this type of thinking in young children.I see many people saying that the field which has many jobs,,they will study in that field,,it means they dont have any love for their field.
but yes not all,,exceptions are always there.
