Back on the cable rant about switch to digital. According to an article I just read in the Sunday's Star Telegram, the cable company I have been fussing about has been lying to me and to all the other customers about the digital switch. According to the watchdog the cable provider you will not have to have a digital receiver in Feb to get tv. Supposedly the cable company will somehow will turn to the digital signal into an analog signal so all the old analog sets will be able to get tv. Which leads me to wonder, how many stations are they going to make possible for regular basic cable consumers to see?

Basic cable customers will need a cable box to get a signal from what I understand.
