The internet is a place of where you can find everything (almost). There are many sites that provides true and credible informations but there also sites which provides fake and incredible information. The question is, how do you assess the credibility or veracity of a site?

Well. I am not expert in internet world, but I think, first, we can check the website layout, I always do that, if I think this layout website like good website, OK, next, I will continue to check their article, fake article or true article, well, we can check review about their offer or their article from another trusted website review,..That's one of way that I know, of course, there are other way that we can do to check fake or credible information from a website.

*How easy the site is to navigate. *How accurate the information is. *How aesthetically pleasing the site is. *How well it's set out. *and things like grammar and spelling, but that's usually not a problem.

Yes... but I think grammatical and spelling errors would mean inaccuracy and poor competency of the author or website owner. I don't usually use or cite such sites for my references.

Site credibility should be time tested. But for a new one a very good design site always has the edge, specially if it is endorsed by known brands. A secure site also give the impression that it has allotted measures in protecting the site and the visitors. Taking something from one site is a bad practice anyway, with the ease of cross referencing one could arrive at a good, consensus and credible information.
