Do you have an annoying family member or relative?

Sadly, even in the family or among kins bitter wrangling exist. Perhaps one of the most common reasons for such family quarrels is rooted on inheritance issues. I don't have inheritance problem with my brother and sisters because our parents have fairly subdivided the properties while they are still alive (they are still alive although my Dad is already bedridden). I just hope that the situation would remain that way. Do you have any family quarrels?

My brother kinda annoys me so much. Whenever we get together my mom always favors him. Maybe because he is the favorite or something. But ever since we seldom see each other because others are living abroad there is really no time for quarrels. We somehow passed that stage that we need to argue even for the simplest things.

True. There are stages in our life, especially during earlier years when we quarrel with our brothers or sisters. That's actually natural. What's disgusting is when matured and older people wrangles for small and simple reasons.

I have had A LOT of loud quarrels with my very loud and very verbally abusive biological father.
I now rarely speak to him except to ask him on the phone where's Mom and when will she be home.
I am very glad that I now live away from them.

I understand your feelings to your father. I would also love to be far from his sight than endure the verbal abuses.

I think that most families have the outcast or problem person. I would rather walk away than to argue over material things. You are fortunate that your family planned ahead. It is better that way and everyone knows what to expect. I pray that your family enjoys the time together that they have.

Thank you. I think the outcast family member is also called the black sheep.
