For those that say that the troubles come from Satan and not God... I would have to disagree since if you look at the book of Job you will see that temptation nor hardships can happen without God's approvial and would not that approval be consent (accomplice). So if God is telling Satan that he can do it it make God just as guilty as Satan as Satan is working WITH and in Conjunction with God.
But if you are looking for a Esoteric answer.... there is no God nor Satan that affects us in anyway such as blessing or curse. We are responsible as both heaven and hell are both within as opposed to being without. there is no bearded man in the clouds dictating all things nor is there a horned devil lurking around every corner, we are tempted by our Animal Instincts and when we do good we are blessed by our higher/spiritual instincts.
I hope that his has brought a little understanding.
Have a great day!!

If your children go out and get into trouble because they refused to listen to your warnings and teaching are you the one that is causing them the trouble? I don't think so.
We are the children of God and the Brothers and Sisters of Jesus Christ and God wants the best for us just like any Father does. He will do his best to teach and guide us to help us avoid trouble. If your parents were never able to teach you anything would you be able to live the life they would want for you? I doubt it very much. Can God personally teach you and guide you? If he can't that's about 99.9% of your problem. Don't look to man to teach you what God wants for you. If you do you are just making another mistake that will cause you more problems.

Bad things happen to good people as well as bad, and that is a part of life. What we do need to remember in the whole situation is that God is to be praised in good as well as bad. Sure our choices do lead to alot of problems, (they are not the origional cause), but if we never fall God can never be there to help pick us back up. A good parent does not completely shelter their child from every possible danger but rather is there to help their child through the dangers.
God with his Omnipotence could easily rid all existnce of evil without even batting an eye, but that would really do us no good as that would void our free will.
Thank you for the wonderful discussion and have a great day!!

I like a mental challenge and that is why I like these types of discussions. If you cannot tell I like to think outside of the box and as such I like to challenge the normal way of thinking and as a result I get into a lot of trouble sometimes as I like to….. Ummm… rattle windows and make them not quite so transparent. I think that Our Heavenly Father would want all of us to get rid of blinders and learn the truth rather than just what another tells them. My Father loves to have just this one MEE rather than a million MEEs.
Have a great day!!

God Gives blessings, but the devil is th one who unleashes trouble nd failures on us-but amazingly, even before the devil does his thing, God already knew it!

I can't say. I have never met him. I have never seen him. And since I have neither met him nor seen him, how can I say what he gives and what he doesn't give? The only thing I know of God is what others have said. And why should I believe what they say?
My troubles are my own making. Had I been a bit more aware and self-informed, my troubles wouldn't have bothered me. And then my blessings are also my making. I can be miserable as well as extremely happy in the same situation. I have tried and been both. It makes more sense to enjoy what I have. If I have a bit of land, I can plant flowers in it and enjoy the beauty. Then it becomes a blessing. So it is all in my hands.
Cheers and happy mylotting

God isn't in the business of causing us problems. This world and mankind will give us all the problems we can handle without any coming from God. He does promise us if we will live our lives by His plan we will have fewer problems. Our bad decisions is what causes our problems and through God's teaching we can make better decisions and avoid a lot of problems. Every time you make an incorrect decision you either create a problem for yourself or someone else.
The most serious problem we will ever have is to not totally depend on God for his personal teaching. That is the only thing that will help us side step a lot of the problems that are lined up in front of each of us. We must also understand that most of our problems are the result of the mistakes made by other people.
Very often God uses the problems we are having to get through to us. Many a person has come to God for the simple reason their lives were in such a mess they knew they couldn't handle it alone and they needed God's help. Concentrate on understanding where your problems are coming from. Many of our every day problems are not of our doing and are beyond our control. These you will probably just have to learn to live with.
