once in awhile, I'm still dizzy. I think it's the constantly changing temps I'm in. One job was about 60 degrees and another was 80 today. But one day, I was just sitting by my computer and things started to get strange. I think I may have an inner ear infection, but my ear doesn't heart.

well, getting dizzy is a symptom that could mean a lot of things. 1. make sure your blood pressure doesn't rise up or doesn't goes down much from your normal baseline. hypertension and hypotension have the same sets of manifestation that the best way to find out is blood pressure check. 2. have you eaten your meal? dizziness can occur if someone becomes hypoglycemic. meaning when you have a low blood sugar level in the blood. be certain that you have a blood glucose test one of these days to be sure of. if your dizziness persists with cold perspiration and it so happened that you skipped a meal, try some hard candies to urgently intervene. 3. it doesn't mean that if your ears do not hurt then there is no way to entertain an ear problem. have your ears check with an ear specialist to find out the underlying cause. it can be a problem in balance or equilibrium (vestibulo-cochlear) that you may not know. 4. be careful enough when you move. sometimes we become dizzy with sudden change of posture or position. this is termed benign positional vertigo. 5. lastly, have a good sleep. one can manifest dizziness if being deprived with enough sleep and rest. hope these help! god bless!

Could be any of those, esp. the last one. I work 3 part-time jobs now and I don't seem to be sleeping very well. Take care and thanks.

Yes, I get dizzy all the time. I went to the emergency room for another problem I had, and they said I was so anemic I had almost no iron in my blood and I had to have an I-V before they let me out. I have been taking Iron supplements for a month now, but I still get dizzy. It seems to happen only when I am doing housework though, like bending to unload the dishwasher, or sometimes just walking across the house will do it if the weather is hot like over 80 degrees. #:)

Do they know why you don't have enough iron in your blood? I'm not anemic any more. I was during that time of the month when I was younger, then I was that way for months and it was a benign tumour that was taking my red blood cells for its own purposes. Some people their diet has to do with it. I was just sitting the other day and the computer screen started swimming before my eyes. I hope you feel better soon, iron pills made me really constipated and then I got hemorhoids, I hope none of that happens to you. Take care

I think my anemia is from heavy bleeding during my period, and a poor diet. I am also taking hydrochlorothiazide for water retention, so if I don't drink enough extra water, I get dizzy and start getting cramps in all my muscles. So I try to get extra bananas and orange juice for the potassium.

I also take HCTZ. But I've been on that for a long time, so I don't think it's that. Take care.

If it continues, you might want to see an ENT doctor. Really no symptoms other than being dizzy if you have an ear infection. How's your blood pressure? I get dizzy at times also but it's usually when I haven't eaten right or am extremely tired. I'm about due to get to my primary doctor and have my blood pressure checked along with an overall check up. I have noticed also when my eyes are strained I tend to get a bit dizzy probably because I have horrible vision. Hope you feel better soon, carolbee

I've worn bifocals for a long time. It does take time to adjust. Take care of yourself and feel better.

Our ears, nose, and throat Drs. are useless. I've been to them for so many thing and not been any better off than when I went to my regular Dr. The problem is that by the time I get to see one, the problem has resolved itself, so I just don't go to one anymore. Same as with going to an allergist. Takes forever to get into a specialist around here. My eyes are a problem, too. Esp. now that I need bifocals. Those things alone can make you dizzy, esp. on stairs. Thanks and take care.

I was getting dizzy and feeling a lot of fatigue for more than a week. It dawned on me with the really hot temperatures that I probably wasn't drinking enough water. So I upped my intake and started feeling better. Must have been a little dehydrated since it worked. I hope you find out what is wrong.

I'm glad you solved your problem. Mine could be so many things. Blood pressure meds, blood pressure, balance off from car accident, ears backed up from allergies, wicked heat changes this year (59 degrees to 80 in less than 24 hours)etc. I didn't have any problems yesterday, so that's a good sign. Thanks and take care.

No, I don't get dizzy but I get a funny feeling in my chest when I'm in high heat and high humidity. I just can't take it, even for 10 or 15 minutes. I feel like I can't get air. Anyhoo, I've not had a problem with dizziness. I drink lots of water every single day. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I have a sister who has periodic problems with dizziness and she takes a medicine for it called, "Antivert" or something like that. Hope you don't have an ear infection and that your dizziness goes away.

I didn't seem to be dizzy yesterday, I was rock climbing and even teetering at the end of short cliffs (my height, I'm afraid of anything higher than that). But now my stomach is bothering me. I think heat and humidity are making me take turns at being sick, but I've also noticed that if I eat food I haven't eaten in a long time, I get sick, too. Maybe my ears were just "backed up"and not infected. Have you seen your Doctor about the tightness in your chest? Could be lots of things that are minor up to major stuff like early asthma or angina. Yes, many meds have dizzying side effects, esp. in the blood pressure department. It's hard to find ones that don't make you drowsy, too. Thanks and take care.

My friend and I go once a year, so we back a lot of enjoyment into that one day of canoeing. Thanks and take care.

Oh yes, my doctor knows about the chest thing. It only happens in high humidity when I am exerting myself outdoors. I have done a heart stress test and all that and everything is fine, no blockages or anything like that. It is more of a breathing thing (lungs as opposed to heart). It occurs when I am in stifling heat and humidity only. It never happens indoors, even when I'm on the treadmill. I just try to stay inside out of the heat as much as possible during this time of year. I do swim outdoors daily and interestingly, as long as I am in the water (cooled off) and swimming, I am fine. Glad to hear you probably don't have an ear infection, that's good. Sorry to hear your stomach is acting up. On a positive note, your day of canoeing sounds fantastic! The rocks, the swimming, the snacks, what a great time that must have been. Very cool.

The only time I get kind of dizzy is if I take my medicine and then go out in the sun or something. I just come in and take it easy if that happens fortunatley it is not something that hapens on a regular basis. I like to let my head and stomach settle befor I go out in the heat.

Yeah, it could be the heat and my blood pressure meds. I had HBP meds one year where I couldn't be out in the sun at all. Just going to my car in the son dropped me to my knees. I've been on these meds over a year, I hope that's not it. Thanks and take care -also be careful, this dizzy stuff can be dangerous.
