would you be ok with using your real photo for your avatar?

I don't like using my own name or photo on line i guess for one reason I was always told to be very careful what you do on line and that forums and such are very anonymous things, I like to stay a little hidden i think.

Well...that's me in the photo! So I guess that answers that question. I'm very comfortable with who I am and my appearance, and I want to be an actress, so I'm definitely not afraid of putting myself out there.

I use my Real picture online, and have no problem doing so. I feel it is best not to hide who I am, and feel it should only matter here to me as well. I have used other pictures, etc. in here from time to time, but always go back to the real me. My picture is over 2 yrs. old, but it is still me.

I wasn't comfortable using a photo of myself when I first joined mylot. But I read that some people feel more comfortable responding to those that use a picture of themselves in their avatar, so I decided to do so. That was over a year ago. And I've been using one ever since.

no..not at all... i refrain form using my real picutre any where in the web...it may be misused.. infact i have still not decided any avatar for this site account...

Hi my friend, Sometimes I use my photo, sometimes I don't. I don't have a recent photo so I use one that's a few years old. I use my doggy's pic most of the time because they are cute and I'm always getting complements about how adorable they are. I figure they are easier on the eyes than I am. Actually I don't mind usign my real picture as my avatar because it represents me and my son. He is one of the reasons why i amd oing this so that I can get a better perspective of life and so many other things that I would probably second guess.

That's no problem for me. If I didn't have my child, using my own photo will be my first choice. Now since I have an angel, so I prefer to use his photo. You know the parents are always so proud of their children:) Looking at him, you can imagine my look:) I love China

well, i don't really mind myself posting my own pic as my avatar. It really doesn't matter to me..lol

Hi shilloh!^_^ i can't see any problem in using my own photo as my avatar i have used it before but i was not facing the camera..hehehe^_^ I am using my pictures in socializing sites and i do not see any problem on it but here in mylot it seems awkward..hahahaha 'coz i can't see many users her using their own pic as their avatar but if it will be implemented that we should use our own pictures then no problem i will gladly let you see my face..

I often use mine... I don't know why cuz i'm not that confident with my look lol. When i get tired of looking at myself I'll use my dogs' instead. So actually, it's based on my mood ^^

i always use my own photo as my avatar.. I tweak/manipulate it a bit sometimes.. But its still me.. I don't like using other pictures that isn't me..

no i would not some sites i do have my photo in the private section where only people i know and trust can see it though
