Do you think that Black people should be given reparations for the years they endured in slaver? I know this is a bit of a touchy subject but it one that i like hearing peoples views on. Now i'm not talking about monetary reparations, i'm talking about stuff like cheaper school fees and cheaper medical care. After all, their fore fathers did pay for this with their sweat and blood. I think they should be given compensation. They spent hundred of years in slavery to benefit their enslavers and never recieved so much as a penny. the jews got compenstaion so why not the blacks? what are your views? do you agree or disagree with me and why?

I feel bad for what happened, but I don't think they should get extra money or anything for that. I really believe that many people use slavery as an excuse about how they are held back and giving them money would just reward their laziness.

Hey there Icyfairy.
This is in response to your discussion "Do Black People should be given reparations for the years in slavery?". I do support your concern regarding them, that they should be given some wave offs in there daily life. But I do kind of feel that what has happened has happened its all past now. Now people do not differ from each other by there race but there capabilities. I am from India and we do see alot of things here also. Earlier this year the Govt. gave seats to the SC/ST people (you can compare them as to black people) in higher educations, and I by heart dont think that it is really needed now. I only want to say that they should be given an ample amount of opportunities in life to live upto there standards.
