What are other things you can do to earn at home?

Though I am a stay at home mom there are a couple of business ventures that I am into. I am into direct selling of herbal supplements and cosmetics, I am also a private tutor; and earn quite a bit online. Recently, I had a garage sale of old clothes, kitchen utensils, old shoes and other stuff that just serve as clutter in the house. It was a success and I am planning to do it again in the future. Can you suggest other type of business that I can start which will not require a big capital and which I can do at home? Thanks!

I've got to admit that before I proceeded replying to this particular discussion of yours, I checked your profile first as I feel that my response should help you more if I knew where you live. So, I found out that you're also a resident of the Philippines like me and another similarity we both have which I discovered is that you and I are in the same range of age. Actually, I'm about a year older than you are. Anyway, even if I do have a job with a local bank for more than three years now, I still feel that my monthly salary isn't enough for me and my own family. Like you, I'm also a mom to my daughter who is turning three next month. My husband also has a job with his uncle's silkscreenprinting business. However, it's not a stable one and most of the time, we do worry about our bills not getting paid on time, plus the rent, transportation fare, and our meals. It's really a difficult task, especially now that prices of commodities have soared up. My sister is a member of Avon and I do market for their products to my officemates, in exchange for a 10 percent income. I also engage myself in electronic load (Smart and Globe) but with separate sim cards. I know you're quite familiar with this and you could venture into this, too, if you like. I've also done garage sales way back 2002 or 2003 but we held it in the province. To add up on the list, I also collect used plastic bottles and scratch paper which we have used at home and in the office. Sometimes, my husband would prohibit me to do this as somehow, he felt ashamed of me doing this. But my conscience is clean; my reason is that I'm not doing anything unlawful and all of these efforts is for our daughter's future. Less than a decade ago, my aunt and I would purchase local biscuits from Fibisco manufacturing plant or factory; which she would sell to our neighbors and I would sell to my officemates then. But we soon got tired of it as we don't own any means of transportation so we just used to commute. You could also venture into holiday gifts as Christmas season is fast approaching. I hope you do find other means of acquiring additional income the soonest possible time. Before I forget, you mentioned about being a private tutor and earning online. If you'd be so kind to help me with this, I do like to give it a try. What sites are you registered with and what subjects do you teach? How much is the pay?
