Why did I just get a $19 while I answered 50 discussions?

If I got 19 dollars for that, I'd be very happy Now, if you meant 19 cents, that would be terrible. Best way to earn more money with answering discussions is to write a long response rather than a quick word or two .

Wow you should be thankful already because some here makes even 60 but only earns $3-5. You really must have written very well Keep it up. Don't be too particular with earnings what you've earned is really very big already for 50 discussions.

if you get 19$ for 50 responses, i will b every very happy. its such a huge sum. or should i read it as 19 cents? whatever may be, i guess mylot has no such fixed rate payments.

mylot authorities should make facility to have editis after the posts also. Other wise this kind of blunders will be there live for ever.

Hi anastacia, Here in mylot, quality is much important than quantity or number of post responded, as fwidman pointed out it, what matters is the length and substance of your discussion, you have to dig deeper into your thoughts as you respond to a discussion. As you see in the right side as your write things it is indicated there "please be descriptive as possible", it goes that way dear. For your earnings to be much better next time, you may respond fewer number but an insightful thought and of course a lengthy one, and guess what people might give the best response rate which will add up to your earnings. You see, when you make good discussions you would be surprise when mylot it would give you more than nineteen cent. I am glad you brought this out, for you to improve more on earnings. A fifty responses with substance and length would rock in mylot! hugs and happy mylotting !

When I saw he post I was guessing it was just a typo. Otherwise if you made 19 bucks by replying to only 50 topics you would have figured out something no one else here knows. That or you were writing about 20 pages worth of writing per reply. Writing good long responses and rating each discussion and reply are the best ways to earn. Remember though this isn't suppose to be a job, it is suppose to be fun. The fact that they gave you anything, even just 19 cents, is a lot more than many places will give you.

50 responses and you only got $.19 for it? MyLot's payment strategy really is a secret although you should've earned more. Are those 50 responses that you made long, descriptive and sensical in any way? Cos I really think that the longer and descriptive your response is, the higher you get paid. That also happened to me, I also got a very low earning even though I made a lot of responses. After reading a lot of discussions here, I found out that I should've made my responses longer not like the usual 1-3 lines that I always do. Try posting long and descriptive answers to discussions, I'm sure that will help you boost your earnings.

I had the same problem as you do when I was new at mylot. I used to make short posts and use to post a lot of discussions but later on I realized and got to know from other members here that its better I post longer posts. Now what I do is I post lesser number of posts but I make sure those are quality posts and now I am happy with my earnings that ways so I would suggest you to do the same and see how your earnings improve.Good Luck

If you mean 19 cents instead of ninteen dollars you probably arent making your discussions long enough. If you are just answering in a word or two you arent going to really earn money for that. You need to try to write in complete sentences four or five lines per response to make the most amoutn of money.

anastacia hi you probably only used a sentenceor two and mylot doesnt pay well for too short answers. be as descriptive as you can and use five or six sentences so really get into it and you will earn at least a dollar or more in one day.better to do thirty good long responses than fifty one or two word responses.

I would be happy if get $19 for 50 responses, I think i would be 19 cents. If it is 19 cents then my answer is try to respond to the discussion with more than four sentences, mylot will never count signal or two word responses. So try to make you responses more detail and then by that you can earn more.

i joined mylot few days ago..i got $1.20 for approx 130 replies. i think more we are here more we gonna enjoy and more we gonna earn. the only thing i have listned from other older mylotters is to post qualilty responses atleast 5,6 lines. take care peace.
