While losing weight, are you guilty of eating much less in a day as needed?

Most of us who have been challenged by weight loss has definitely considered our diets. We take into consideration the calorie content of the food and balance it out according to what we need and how much we burn (at an estimate) when we exercise or even rest. But as you travel along the path of losing weight, was there a day when you ate less than you're supposed to just to lose more of those excess weight? I had around 3 days like that in the past 3 months. It felt good that the weight went off easily. But I didn't feel good as I was weaker on those days. I managed to get past it and eat healthy and now I'm losing weight at a better pace. Around 10 lbs a month. Share your stories. Take care.

Yes i have definitely done that, and i know thats bad because as i was told by the doc..if you starve your body, then it holds on to every calorie or every bit of what you took in because it doesnt know when you will feed it again..well thats the simplest way i know how to explain waht i understood..lol. So it is better to eat a bunch of small meals then one big one that might not have enough calories as well as not enough other things like protein and fiber.

That's a pretty interesting info my friend. I didn't know our bodies would do that. Well, I've had my starvation days. It was terrible after a few weeks. I did lose a lot but I also lost my strength. Yes, I totally agree with you. Small but more frequent meals is one of the keys in losing weight.

This is really a part of losing weight. I always feel guilty that I'm eating less food compared before but I must go on with it. This is the only way to lose weight.

Well said. I do feel the same thing. Especially when you're in the middle and is very conscious about a single lb of loss or gain. It really happens. Thanks my friend.
