Hello friends!!!!Need some help here,Maxine (Max)-our cat has been jumping up on the dresser, trying to open the clothes cabinet, going to dim places.Sometime3s i would see her on my husbands clothes after he left-he's not used to closing it.Am i suspecting a delivery soon?I have prepared a basket for her with some old clothes in it.But she doesn't seem to like it.I kept on putting her to the basket to familiarize her,but she kept on going to where she wants. What should i do during the delivery? My daughter ask me if we have to give her milk-maybe i said.I'm sorry for being a bit exaggerated since this is my first time with pregnant cat.Your help is very much appreciated.

cats usually do pretty good by theirself unless theres an unforseen health problem. the thing is, i've never been able myself to make one keep the babies where i want them. you may be able to catch her and make her have them there even if she dont like it, but as soon as you take your eyes away long, she probably will move them. cats are very set in their ways about their own babies.

I did see that while she's delivering.I prepared a basket but she placed herself somewhere at a corner. After she gave birth to four kittens thought it would be best to put them all together in the basket. But she carried them back one by one at the same corner. My kids are wondering why they have all dark colors....none came all-white like the mother.Thank you friend for dropping by.

Hi there misty99,
I think Max trying to try your dressesShe looking for a place that more confort, close and more like nesting for the babies. More close and private like cave.Thats when a pregnant cats do. My cat was looking for a place under my bed, with a paper box in it. sometimes she change place when she felt un-secure for the baby too.
