Hey, as you can see I am pretty new here. I started a few discussions and some had really nice responds. What I was asking myself now: If somebody respond to your discussion do you always answer again ? Or don`t you answer in general ? Do you only write to responds you like special ? Is it discourteous somehow if we never give a feedback ? What do you think ?

yes,i always to feedback every response, because they also can earn money from your response, and you also can earn more money by your responses,so for that i always respond all the response that i have.

I do. I think if someone responds to your discussion they deserve to have it read and acknowledged...but it's totally up to you what you want to do. If you do get alot of responses to one of your posts it gets almost impossible to answer all of them!

Hi, Jillhill I read everything that was posted to a discussion I started but as you say sometimes it`s just tooooooo much to comment everything. Thank you and have a great day.

I used to be really bad at this. I never picked a best response and never made comments. About two weeks ago, I went through all of my myLot emails and choose best responses and commented as appropriate. I think this makes responders feel more respected and they're more likely to put time into answering our discussions. If you want to get people to answer your discussions I think a good way is to write meaningful answers to theirs.

Hi there Tasche! I try my very best to respond or comment to the responses I get to the discussions I start. I don't really get to comment on ALL the responses for some reasons. One reason could be that the response made on the discussion I have started is very much similar to another response that I already have commented on. I do not really think that it is discourteous if we can't comment on all those responses. I am sure that they would understand.

It depends really, I always try and respond to everyone because I feel guilty if I do not. But sometimes there is not always a lot to say back and so in those cases I just say thanx for joining in on the discussion or I do not say anything. To respond to people is to keep the thread going, and also it can develop into friendship through the discussion.

That guilty feeling came to me too. That is why I started this discussion. So, thanks for your post.

no, not all the time but I sometimes do. Especially if I feel in the mood of typing and posting or if the person makes a response which makes me feel I have to make a comment after reading, then I post a comment on the issue and if this goes on, it turns into a conversation which is always good to maintain some friends or even enemies here :) Anyway, if you read the guidelines of mylot you can see they don't want you to make comments for every responses you recieve. I mean, "don't thank everyone who responds you" of course it doesn't mean you shouldn't get a conversation with everyone but still means you shouldn't force yourself to send a comment for every and each response you get.. Anyway, recieving such a comment doesn't please me.

I always try to respond to those who responses to my discussions. That is my way of thanking them. It is not like that i just ignore the responders. Some responses are difficult to answer for me. So i am not able to respond to all responses.
