I have two hawaiian plants that have white blooms that smell so good. I also have two other tropical plants that are supposed to have orange and red blooms but they haven't bloomed yet. I have a philadendron (I know that is spelled wrong). I also have a desert rose plant. Oh and the aerogarden also. I like to have plants inside cause it purifies the air and looks lovely. Do you have houseplants? If so what kind?

I dont currently have any houseplants becasue I'm not which ones are ok to have round my kitty. He is alwasy wanting to nibble on things like that, and since some houseplants are toxic to cats I dont really think it's a good idea. I might get some if I can find out which ones are ok for cats. I've always cats so I should know but I dont.

I really wish I could have more houseplants but I have to be careful because too many of them are poisonous to cats. They also like to play with them and destroy them! Right now the only really safe ones I have are Bamboo plants. I have 2 that are extremely large, more like Bamboo trees! The I 2 smaller ones that I keep in my terrium which has gravel and shells and stones and other stuff, kinda used to be my friends fish tank but now its my plant tank! Then I have a plant that my neighbor gave me to plant sit for almost 2 years ago. I guess that would make it mine. He has been very sick and doesn't even stay in his apartment anymore so he doesn't even visit his poor plant anymore. It is supposed to be a money plant. I don't know the real name of it. Someone told me that's that's what it is. Anyway, it's staring to look like a money tree. I just wish it would grow money already!

have you tried looking on the web for more info on at friendly plants? I know kitties love to eat and destroy plants. grow your furry babies some catnip or just grass (not weed) they love that.

We have very little space for plants that the cat won't get to, and not a lot of light in here either. All we have in the apartment is one low maintainence aloe-vera plant that I asked my husband to buy me at the farmers market a few weeks ago. LOL We sometimes have a vase of cut flowers on the bedroom dresser, but that one plant is the only thing we have in here.

I have several cactus plants in my house that I really enjoy and one bamboo plant. I keep them here in my office with me in my bay window. :)
