I'm looking to start an online business. No, not paid to
click. I'm looking for something more substantial. I don't
have anything at the moment to invest, but if I got a good
idea then maybe I could get some help. Any ideas? I'm very
serious. I need to make money and I'd like to do it from
home. I'm tired of the usual office games!

I don't know if you've checked out the info on my profile but I've got a home business that I do part-time and just love it. It can be done 100% from home if you'd like. I'd love to chat with you a bit more about it if you want.

If you have reasonable writing skills, you can visit the site listed in my profile. There you will find ways of working as freelance writer, as proofreader, or as a blogger. All of that does not require any investment.
If at a later time, you do get some amount to invest, you can invest that in stock markets, you will find useful tips on safe stock investments on the same site.
You can also work as freelance software programmer or web designer if you are in this field.
If you can tell me what your experience and qualifications are, I can probably suggest something more.

You just sent me a friend request about an hour ago. Luckily I like to look at the discussions that a person requesting my friendship responds to and writes about before I accept friendship. If you are looking for a business that has no out of pocket cost to start, and a great earning potential, check out the banner at the top of my profile. Once you go there and fill in your information, you will get an e-mail that will explain the opportunity a little further, and invite you to a conference call that explains the opportunity in minute detail. Don't worry, there aren't any hard sales in that call, just information. This way you can decide for yourself if this is the opportunity for you. I look forward to speaking with you. Now I am off to approve your request lol.

Perhaps one idea is to help small stores/companies sell their products via the internet.
I saw this grilled seafood outlet three blocks from where I live. I believe there are limitations in the current arrangements.
An online store can ask for bulk discounts from a source and market the products aided by an online store.
e.g. delivery requests, booking, reservations, discounts for early orders etc.
I hope to hear more from you.Thanks.
Cheers :)

Well, Opal26, this is a tough question. There are several websites where you can actually get work, such as data entry, blogging, writing articles, etc. and get paid for it. You would work from home on your computer to do these jobs. Have you checked in to any of those? That's not exactly starting a business, but it is working from home and earning money.
The 2 I know of are odesk and elancer. Odesk currently does not charge to put your resume and info on there. Elancer has different levels of involvement, the first being you don't pay anything, but to get access to more possible jobs, you pay a little.
If you have talents, such as crocheting, woodworking, sewing, jewelry/beading, etc. you could sell your crafts on etsy. I've heard others say they do alright on there.
I wish you alot of luck, Opal26. There is alot of work to do out there on the internet, it's finding what's right for you that's the hard part.
