Girl Talk

If boys talk about girls, then girls also talk about boys. I hang out with both camps and the stories told can sometimes be downright graphic if not hilarious. If you're with your friends, what do you usually talk about? Do you share intimate details or just the ones almost everybody know? What's your limit? How do you feel if others divulge the really intimate ones?

There's another thing that changes with age. When I was a teenager we used to giggle about cute boys in the privacy of our girls' dormitory. Now that I am married, our ladies' groups usually talk about children, boast about their prowess in school and elsewhere. But when I am with older ladies (just to feel young again), the topic is mostly about aches and pains, grandchildren and husband's ailments. Even in coversations we age...

Totally true. My friends and I observed that too and would tease each other about it. But since I'm the single one and without any kid, I become the highly appreciative audience when they bring out the pictures plus of course the requisite "you know what, if you have your own kid...".

I personally hang out with the both. When i am with my girls we talk about problems we may have in our relationship, never do i talk about person things with my girls if you know what i mean. There is a limit to what they know personally. They tend to get ideas! when i am with my guy friends i seem to be able to just laugh and talk about relationships on a more serious level. But i still have my limits.

Hi diutay,
My friends are of the older generations so we don't talk about thing like that only comp;ain about our husbands, but I was younger yes we used to talk but not the intimate stuff that is private.
