I have a son who will be 5 years old in December. He did not get accepted into our town's preschool program. I decided that I would teach him at home until next year when he can start kindergarten. I was homeschooled my entire school age life except for Kindergarten. I was just wondering what your experiences were/are? Please share!

hi to u. Its true that u have to teach ur child first at home if he did not accept in a preschool class. School is better than home school although I didnt experience it but at school you will learn many things that u cant find at home. example how he will associate to his/her classmates. When I was elementary age, we use to have our own gardining session. My classmates and I are enjoying it bec we helped each other. We know that we can exactly do many things and do fastly. Having like this makes a better person.. Im not saying that it will not be better at the home school but the unity and trust each other are build. I enjoyed it very well bec I enjoyed what I am learning.
