Thats not a supernova.It's it aftermath showing all the gases it thrown out.They star either became a black hole or a pulsar,depending upon its scale.Our sun won't go supernova.Instead it will become a neutron star or a white dwarf.

That's beautifull You should go to goole and search for hubble telescope.. Many pictures there too at the hubble site, real beautifull ones
