America is the richest nation on the earth, and we always will be we are always there with a handout when other nation are in trouble, but I think it is time we took care of our selves first for a change, not that I'm against helping but we have starving children here too.

From what point of view? The European Union has the largest GDP (a little bit larger than the US, but EU is not yet a unified state); Luxembourg has the biggest GDP/person and Norway has the best quality of living.
