I'm actually very shocked to see that Ric Flair is no longer apart of the WWE. That means he is now free to make appearances and autograph sessions that he wasn't able to be permitted to. I've read I think it was on prowrestling.com though it probably came from something like the Wrestling Observer or Pro Wrestling Insider Elite that he left on pretty good terms. As we have seen this year, he has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and had his last match at Wrestlemania going out in style.
The next night however was really nice. He got to go out with class and dignity. I would say it's a great send-off. There is no other way that it could have come off any better than that. He has done all he can in the ring and with nothing left to accomplish to be honest. I think that now would probably see him making appearances with signing autographs and probably being able to be apart of conventions.
What do you think of this? I think he might reappear again but have a different deal. Probably something like a Legends deal and be allowed to take Indy bookings just for autograph purposes.

Ric Flair is actually a wrestler that I remember. I used to watch wrestling all the time but haven't in a few years. Ric Flair has to be getting pretty old since I watched him when I was a kid. It's great that he's still in good enough shape TO wrestle.

The 1st time I saw him was in the early 90s and was really young. I was somewhat watching WCW a little but also watching WWF and I saw him appear in WWF, which was suprising to say the least. He probably is but I think he's at the point where he's not going to get in the ring and wrestle again.

That's true. Mainly I just don't think he'll do it probably out of respect. I don't see him joining TNA and besides I don't see him really fitting in there too much. I will give him that in that regard. I just don't think he will for some reason.

I agree with you. He had a long and great career. It probably longer than any career will ever be,lol. The one who could have a longer career than Ric Flair if he keeps it up is Hacksaw Jim Duggan but hes not a Ric Flair although I admire Jim Duggan. Duggan does not win like Flair did but has good charisma.

Duggan doesn't and he's one of those guys that really didn't need a belt because he was so over with the crowds back in the day. Though he did get 2 belts in WCW, the US and TV, probably didn't need them so much. I think the longest career but don't quote me on that is probably Terry Funk.

i remember ric flair and to be honest i think its about time he left i am assuming he is going to retire because he is definatly old!
im not sure exactly how old but he must be one of the eldest in the wwe
im not suprised he has left there is only so much the body can take and at his age he needs to rest and relax not be jumping around a ring

I believe he's 59 and I think he retired from getting in the ring this year. I don't know if he's the oldest in the WWE that wrestles but if not, he'd have to be up there. He hasn't wrestled since that Wrestlemania match with Shawn Michaels and I think that was the match to go out on and not go any further but that's just me.

I am glad The Nature Boy can somewhat relax now. The man has been in the game for a long time.
Although, I hope he returns in the form of a manager. In many ways I don't want him to leave the profession as he was a staple of the wrestling that I grew up to love and respect.

He'll probably return as a manager most likely. I can't see him doing anything other than that at this point in his life. He probably won't leave wrestling forever and will show up from time to time. I don't think he'd turn down making an appearance in WWE but that's just me.
