I use norton. I just like the interface and automatic updates. I don't care if I have to pay a yearly fee. It just helps give me peace of mind (lol)

I use AVG8.0 Free edition, combined with the free bitdefender 10
Not really much virusses get through that.. And when I am not sure about some sites I turn on the windows firewall, so then I have 3 apps running, not much Speed loss, almost nothing, dpn't even notice it when I surf, chat, etc. :)
Have a good day

nod32 doesn't give false alarm trust me...nod32 is the worst enemy of trojans, its virus database is very logical and intelligent...

i think nod32 is reliable, takes less memory and processor usage, runs faster and doesn't slow down ur computer.i will rate node 32: 9/10.

I use a product from TrendMicro, and I also go every week or so to their website here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and run their free virus/spyware/adware scan. It takes a while to scan a large hardrive but it can be worth it when they find something
Whatever product you use, you should get frequent updates from the company as those who wish to invade the computer are always finding something new to do it with.

If you're looking for free ones, I'd recommend either Avast or AVG. I've been told multiple times and have experienced that Norton isn't that great--it slows your computer down a lot.
Personally though, if you're not downloading anything substantial (i.e., torrents), then you shouldn't worry about anti-virus. If you get Firefox with Adblock and Noscript, all of your security worries will be taken care of. There's no chance of anyone taking advantages of vulnerabilities in your browser if you don't let them use Javascript, Flash or Java. If you do download heavily from torrent sites, then Avast or AVG is the way to go.
