night club bouncing is a little funnier to me but with the real thing you get to carry a gun most of the time.

I'll tell you what's funnier. My best friend works security at a building that nothing ever happens (some building egging years ago was the most exciting thing) and he has to wear a bulletproof west! It's the cheap kind so he feels like he's in the sauna for the entire shift. He doesn't even have a weapon, the budget is so low that they don't even supply torch batteries and he's wearing a west!
Back to your question, I think a bouncer is funnier since you don't really do anything. You just drink for free, hit on the girls and get paid a lot. That's not a job, it's a joke. And it's not even dangerous, at least I don't know any bouncer who was ever in danger. No idea where you worked but a bouncer is a do nothing job in my book.

i think bouncer cause i picture someone being bounced though it's not funny to the person you're bouncing.
